Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Hi All

So sorry for not updating this blog in a while- life has been a bit busy and Sam has been sick so my blog updating got put aside.  Just wanted to share with you all the lovely cards I received for my Birthday a couple of weeks ago.  Thank you to all.  The first 3 are ones my kids made for me and also a picture of the patty cakes they decorated to make my cake.  1 candle for every 10 years and we won’t worry about the rest!!!

Sam is only 3 1/2 and he was very cute making my card.  I was at my desk and he was at the kitchen table and every now and then he would call out – “Don’t look mummy!!”  He did really well – This is his card.

Hannah loved making her card and thought it was great to write my age all over the front – when I opened it up she had also covered the top half of the card in the same numbers!!!  Thanks Hannah

As you can see they all used the same stamp set – my favourite.  Jack did very well making sure his card was perfect.

Other cards from family and fellow stampers in our team. Thank you all.

That’s all from me.  Will try to make some more cards this week.  It has been so cold here in Toowoomba, with even sleet on Monday, so my fingers have been too cold to make anything (well that is my excuse anyway!!!!)

Happy Stamping

Scrapbook Pages and some Cards

Hi All

Just thought I’d show you all a few of my scrapbook pages I have done over the past month.

This scrap page was partly cased from Alisa.

Scrap Pages using Polka Dots and Petals Stamp Set to create my own background paper.  I have also used the new Real Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon.

This page I have used the Crew Kids Boy Scrapin’ Kit and the page is copied from current catalogue.

Here is an example of a simple card made using the Simple Somethings Stamp set which is only $23.95.  It is a set of 4. The sayings come from the set Warm Words.

Card using new In colours-Blue Bayou, Purely Ponegranate & Wild Wasabi.  The stamp set used is my favourite – Garden Whimsey.

A Male card using the stamp set Seeing Spots.  The colours I have used are couple of the new in-colours, Blue Bayou, River Rock & Soft Sky.

Lastly here is a card I made for a girl in our team whos Birthday was last week – Happy Birthday Kristie.  Sorry I’m late with your card.

Upcoming Event:  Launch of our New Spring Mini Catalogue.  Friday 22nd August at 7.30pm Cost $15- come along for a fun filled night of creating some wonderful cards using some new stamp sets which will feature in our new mini catalogue.  If you are interested in attending please contact me on 46598580 to book your spot.

Until next time – Happy Stamping, Tanya

Cards

Back again, below are a couple of cards I made a while ago.  I haven’t got around to making any this week so hopefully I’ll have some new ones up next week.

The card on the left is done by using Popin’ Pastals.  I have stamped in Versa Mark using Stipple Rose stamp then coloured the image using the chalks.  The card base is Certainly Celery and the image is mounted on Rose Red.  To finish the card off I have used Certainly Celery Wide Grosgrain Ribbon.  A very simple but effective card.  The card on the right is stamped using Boho Background and Wonderful Words Stamp Sets.  I have used Rose Red Cardstock and stamped using Rose Red ink to create the flower background. Then I stamped two of the circle images onto Whisper White Cardstock – punching one out using Scallop Punch and the other I have punched using 1 1/4″ circle punch.  I put a silver brad through the circle one and mounted it using dimensionals onto the scallop punched circle.  This gives the card some depth.  The wording has been stamped used Rose Red Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock then mounted on Rose Red Cardstock then onto Whisper White and finally mounted onto card.  The Wonderful Words stamp set comes in a set of 4 sayings – Thank you, Celebrate, Love and Friendship so this card could easily be used for all 4 sayings.

Thanks for dropping by, my holiday out west has almost ended.  I hope to update this website weekly – well that is the plan anyway!

Happy Stamping

Holidays

Hi all, Just thought I’d share some photos of our holidays out west.  We are out at my parents property near St George for a week and having a nice relaxing time.  Yesterday we caught up with a dear friend and we all had a lovely time making a scarecrow, having a bonfire and picnic in the country and celebrating Nathan’s Birthday (my friends grandson) .  Where in the city can you go outside the garden fence and light a bonfire!!!  We also visited my old primary school were I went from Grade 1-7.  When I finished in Grade 7 there were only 7 kids in the whole school!! The kids are also enjoying crayfishing and riding their bikes.  Hope you enjoy my photos and I’ll be back with some more stamping photos soon.  Tanya

Gift for Naming Ceremony

Back again, on Sunday I went to a friend’s little boys Naming Ceremony and what a lovely day it was.  Here are some photos of the gifts I made for him (haven’t included all of the pages from the car book).  Connor is 2 1/2 so I had to put my thinking cap on for a gift.  I have used both Stampin’Up! (some retired products) and non Stampin’Up! products to complete the two projects.  I was so happy with the end result and now my two boys have asked for their very own cars!!  Better get creating 😀
